GearCaddie's reading

How GearCaddie reads each club from its research. Not a manufacturer spec and not a fitting: a playing level is a rough guide, and a fitter with a launch monitor decides.

Forgiveness—Moderate

Workability—High
Best for—Low-handicap and highly consistent mid-handicap golfers

Titleist T100 · GearCaddie notes

Best for

Low-handicap golfers who want a clean players profile, traditional lofts, and high control around the green and into approach shots. It can also work for a consistent mid-handicap player who values feedback over maximum forgiveness.

Probably skip it if

Golfers who routinely miss low on the face, need help launching long irons, or prioritize ball speed on mishits. The 21° 3-iron is particularly unlikely to suit slower or inconsistent swing speeds.

Main benefit

Precise distance control and workability in a compact, fully forged head.

Watch out for

The small profile and traditional lofts expose inconsistent contact more than the T200 or T300.
